Poem 21 (Collection 1)

I could kiss you a purple haze or,
simply lay it out in lavender
for you.
But you see,
I’m a shrinking violet.
I pass off as a word
without a rhyming partner,
but deep inside I’m a purple prose.

What can I say?
I’m just purple-hued!
